What You Need To Know
As you arrive in Dolores, you will turn left just before the Base Camp Food and Fuel, onto 11th Street. This street goes through a short bit of neighborhood and then up into the mountain, which you will take a right to the entrance of The Heartland Retreat Center.
You will want to fly into the regional airport – Durango-La Plata County Airport – in Durango, Colorado. From there, The Heartland Retreat Center is approximately 1-hour drive. Both American Airlines and United Airlines fly into Durango.
The Heartland Retreat Center has partnered with a great shuttle service that runs 24/7. Group rides are at a reduced rate. PLEASE Note: Durango, Colorado does not have all the ride options that are offered in other metro areas. There is not Yellow Cab or Super Shuttle services. Uber also can have limited cars and drivers in the area. Plan ahead whenever possible.

The Heartland Retreat Center has incredible views, a one- of-a-kind labyrinth, a replica of the famous Chartres Labyrinth, and beautiful grounds to explore.
Cortez, Colorado is about 20 minutes away and is a larger town with more shopping/dining options. Dolores, Colorado is on the edge of 5,000,000 acres of a national park with archeological sites, ruins, hiking trails, and a number of other activities nearby.
The Canyons of the Ancients National Monument is 30 minutes away. We are also just an hour from the Four Corners Monument where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico meet.
